He’s slipping away. Guy can’t figure out what lap they’re on, and can’t seem to fuck off with the worthless stories about walking alligators or whatever other dumb shit he saw on social media by a rider.

I’ve always been a bit irritated that Ralph is the voice of Supercross, but at least he didn’t have his head too far up his ass.

Is he off his meds? Early signs of Alzheimer’s? Drinking problem? BJ under the broadcast table?

Just wondering.

Look this is not a great thread And is clearly destined for the dungeon, but I’ll bite.
I do think there is a problem.
I completely understand mistakes are made, but Ralph makes them constantly. To the point that it’s embarrassing. I can tell RC is embarrassed by some of the things he says.

Now RC. He is ok. Not great, but ok.
BUT. He is the GOAT. He is there because of that and he is respected in the industry. Now he is improving, he is working on it and I can see the results. But I’ll always give him grace because the reasons he is there are different to Ralph.
Ralph is a nobody. The ONLY reason he has a job is because he is great at calling the sport. Except he isn’t and there are clearly better options..

It’s now time to wonder wtf is going on. Get this dumbass out of the damned box please.
It’s not amateur hour.

Paul Malin who commentates on MXGP would be amazing for the Supercross broadcasts. That guy can entertain and does it all on his own for the most part.

Ralph has been on Supercross broadcasts for years and to be honest the past couple years have been awful. I’m not sure how much is him and how much was/is fox and nbc forcing him to say stuff. I’ve ranted enough about Ralph and he may be a great guy out of the booth but on air he absolutely is not helping the broadcasts. It’s time for a change. The first three rounds this year proved to me at least it’s time.

My favorite Ralph-ism was this weekends race when he and tried to point out that number 27 Malcolm Smith was moving up in the field. For a second there I thought there was a 79 year-old out there racing.

I can normally tune him out but this race was bad. Justin Bogel normally rides the number 50 bike of Benny Bloss. wtf Ralph, dude was a mess all day.

That entire story with the alligator was so cringe worthy i turned away from the screen and stared at the wall in embarassment for a minute.

I usually try not to bitch too much about Ralph, but man...sometimes it's just hard to defend the guy.

I think Ralph is too busy looking at his personal interest notes about the riders and what he will say next to pay attention to what lap the race is on.
