Thought he signed a two race deal so is he done? On his own Kawi at Glendale?

Thanks, so I guess he's done. I thought they would have kept him on longer he had solid results.
Edited Date/Time:
In the Racer X/Pulp review podcast, Matthes and Weege both said they've heard they may keep Mookie on board even with Bogie's return. He is popular, got pretty good results and most importantly Suzuki has stated they want more yellow on the track. No brainer to keep him. We'll see. Hoping they do. A win win for both, I think.

I dunno, I hear his comments more as in if they don't agree to a deal ASAP, then he'll be back on his Kawi. At the time of that interview, there was no ink on paper yet. That could change today or tomorrow.
Like flatout111 / Matthes said - lots of compelling reasons to keep him around...
Positively, absolutely 110% obsessed with anything MOTO.
By the way Weege and Matthes talked is that the Suzuki brass wants more Suzuki's out on the track and it seems that JGR will fill 3 bikes the remainder of the season.
Somebody (maybe it was Matthes or Weege) posted on Twitter on Saturday night that the rumor was that JGR was trying to find extra sponsorship money to keep Mookie on for the rest of the season...
Who knows? With Bogle out, they could damn sure do worse.
Suzuki has said they need more RMZ on the track to people in charge of keeping Mookie.. “allegedly” lol
I hope that he gets to stay on JGR. Decent results and seems really grateful that he has a ride.
Good with fans and his social media has really stepped up thanking his sponsors.

These are all great valid points and it seems like a no Brainer UNTIL some needs to write the check then all of a sudden it becomes a Brainer.
Looking over their PR this week, there's not much to suggest that it was his last race.
Examples...
Stewart showed flashes of brilliance in his second race as a fill-in rider on the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team. Malcolm’s 16-8-14 finishes aren’t a true indicator of how fast the Florida native was on Saturday. With more time on the Suzuki RM-Z450, Stewart will be able to do serious damage.
"It was good for me to have more gate drops, so I could get used to the Suzuki RM-Z450 and raise my intensity level. I couldn’t be happier with how I’m riding, given that Saturday night was only my fifth time riding the RM-Z450. We will keep moving forward and focus on making more improvements next week."
Hope he stays at JGR. He has been better than I expected the past 2 weeks. Sounds likely we will see him alot more this season.
Mookie gets bashed way too often on this forum. He's a damn good rider and draws a lot of attention. If he wants a SX only factory ride he should get it. I don't blame him for not wanting to race outdoors. He gets to take a nice long break and go fishing during the summer which seems to be his true love anyway right? If he can find a permanent home on a team and get comfortable I guarantee he's a top five threat.
Too bad they didnt show any racing on TV but Mookie got decent start on 2nd final and kept Factory KTMs honest. He looked to be more agressive than week ago and sure will get good results if they keep him.
I hope all the best for Bogle but if he comes in too soon he will just have another crash that will hurt even more his progress.
If Suzuki can provide the bikes and money then I think JGR would absolutely want to keep him. They are likely not paying him a ton of money, his results will improve a bit with some more time, and mostly importantly he's very popular with the fans. Plus, being completely honest here, both Bogle and Peick are a bit unlucky in the injury department and the odds of the 2 of them both contesting the next 14 rounds uninterrupted is pretty low.
Old MXer turned Superfan.
I thought J Bone said it was likely he would stay , on Supercross Live.. He has been ok, nothing stellar , but he will get better. Bogle may take a while to come back
The only exercise i get these days, is shaking my head in disbelief

He missed atleast one race
His interview on the Pulp podcast got me fired up on Mookie again.
JGR would be wise to to find some money and secure his ride.
