This is probably a stupid question, because any bike can be modified to the person height. What is the best bike for me, my height is 5'8. My leg inseam is 32, i was thinking of getting a honda but that might be a little bit to tall. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

You are probably better off going to a local KTM or Yamaha dealer than dealing with the butt munches on this site. Any full sized bike is fine when it comes to physical size for you.

If Bilbo Carmichael is tall enough ......

I'm a towering 5'7 and generally when it comes to new bikes, the KTM's and Husqvarnas are the only ones that feel quite tall with their very flat seat. Noticeable in slow corners or rider changes

Google says RC is 5'6", so at 5'8" the OP is tall enough, but what is Carmichael's inseam?

Fiolek is 5'2". Doesn't look like she has any problems riding a full size bike.

125 and 250f.

Are you serious? Did you just ask this to jack it to people responding? Well, if so get out the lotion. First off.. you are probably the average rider height. My buddy is 5'6 and rips a 250 2 smoke. I on the other hand am 6'2 and have noticed how significantly smaller the Honda is than any other 450. It feels like a small mans bike, big guys ride Yamaha/kawi. Or a KTM with quad bend pro taper bars.

I don't think you'll be tall enough

The fit of the bike should primarily be while you're riding not stopped. Unless you're riding offroad where you might need to dab your foot for technical sections that might be the only reason you might need to have the ability to touch the ground with both feet. Riding MX the fit of the bike should only matter when you're on the pegs.

You start lowering an MX bike and you start taking away suspension travel. I'm 5'6 and ride a 125 and a 350 as my bikes of choice, and I don't have any problems.

Any MX bike you're looking at should be fine.

I'm 5' 5" and I ride 125's. My '16 KX250F was actually a little shorter than my '02 RM 134, esp after I put the Pro Circuit links on it.

KTM's and Yamaha's feel tall but only when I put a foot down.

Sounds like you might need a DRZ 125. You do know Susuzki is the best don't you?

Haha RC is 5'6 MAYBE in boots and a cowboy hat. I'm no giant and the pictures from when I met him during his Honda days make it look like I snuck my redheaded stepchild into the Honda pits.

Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?

I was 5'3 when I jumped to 125, shoulda stayed an extra year on 85s, but that's neither here nor there.

Nope too short. Get a pw50.

I hear the seat height on a quad is is perfect for 5'8" and you can fit a full sybian on it.

Height really doesn't matter. What matters is how strong you are and how low your balls hang between your legs.
