Ironman schedule change?

We are only 4-5 years into having Ironman as a national but I feel like they have almost all been mudders. Maybe at least half of them (I’m probably wrong).

Is this an issue of the schedule or just straight up coincidence? It reminds me of Seattle having their SX right smack in the middle of the rainy season in an open stadium.

Maybe they can change the date of the Ironman race to ensure better weather? Or is the weather just weird and unpredictable in that neck or the woods and not much can be done?

You can always get that weather from spring til fall in that part of the country.

2 out of 5 have been mudders. It's usually dry this time of year, but in the midwest, expect unexpected weather.
