Trying to compare this to sand... please!
I thought the same thing lol. He carries so much more speed in the big rutted corners. It's really fun to watch.

Maybe JH changes course and races in the US next year. There's a KTM spot open and Tony Cairoli is riding great.

You know, being in Europe and seeng how the guys have the bikes set up, it looks similar here already - Herlings is on softer suspension than Tomac by a mile just watching the bikes.... When are American riders going to realize that stiff AF doesn't work as well outdoors? The Euros have that figured for sure.

Herlings is just embarrassing them

They'll probably roll most of the track between now and the motos... advantage gone!

Just make sure you get home in time for the motos. Cause a European is about to kick American ass. And I'm an American excited to see it Grinning

Lets hope this isn't one of those Stewart like sightings where he blows his load in qualifying and tanks it in the motos

The way he carved up the track on the 2.08.7 lap was breathtaking. So smooth, so fast mid corner.

Then remove 0,5 for the even faster one!

Herlings is on fire! This is going to be an amazing race. Fingers crossed this forum doesn't melt down into a USA vs Europe circle jerk.

I've wondered that same thing. You see it at des nations and the usgp's. The euro bikes just seem to handle so much better and the suspension actually moves. Suspension is supposed to soak up the bumps right? Lol

I think the professional athletes, professional teams and professional mechanics know what they're doing.

Well, he rides 3 times more before the motos in the GPs.

He didn't even break a sweat.

That is so true...watching the GP's you can see how their suspension follows the ground and has way more movement than the US setups which tend to not move as much...

I hope Herlings gets starts, his one downfall this year in GP's has been getting bad starts and taking too long to get going. He has been better the last few rounds though
