Kinda reminds me of Alessi's pro debut at Steel City in 04' when he went 3rd OA on a 450 as a 120lb kid coming out of Lorettas and the moto world melted down. But in reality he came in for the last race of the year when the title was settled, some guys were out with injuries and minds were on the US Open. A better measure would be for him to show up for Hangtown next year. That being said - they guy is awesome to watch, as are all of the top 3 or 4 MXGP guys.

I got to see JH at MXdN in Lommel in 2012... he was mind blowingly fast there and was just a kid at the time.

Over 3 sec faster than MM atm... jesus.

Herlings just dropped a 2.08. 4 seconds faster than Musqin's 2.12. Tomac dropped a 2.10.

That was a bit embarrassing. These ruts on the US tracks are way, way softer because of the watering and ripping the dirt deep compared to any of the GP rounds over the world.
