Why does everyone keep saying borrowed bike??? It has a slightly different engine spec, fuel and pipe from his MXGP bike. Otherwise its the same exact stuff he races every weekend. You think it still has has Canards bars and suspension on it? These guys get new frames every couple races anyway, so basically its no different than when they get a new race bike built back home. Like Langston said, nothing that riding for a day cant overcome....It' not like hes riding a Kawasaki for the weekend. With that said, hes a badass and that was awesome to watch!
Read up on the gp rules, we have no idea how similar or different the bike may be. Could be a totally different frame.

tomac landed 2 inches wide. he can run herlings pace.
does make you wonder when guys chase set up...talent trumps set up.

Uh.... set up matters. There is a scenario where Herlings tests and gets more comfortable on the bike and dominates even more. He was in control all moto. Eli and Marvin weren't.
I'm thinking Herlings may have the better setup and others should take notice.

Too be honest those points don't matter. Only way Tomac loses it is with a mechanical. So if he has a mechanical Marvin can win. But those extra points are meanginless right now. If the points were closer then sure. But they aren't. So only a mechanical will stop Tomac.
Or Moose Can can shadow Tomac and then 'park' him and make sure he doesn't finish the race, sort of like what Tomac tried with Dungey...

Don't you mean whats all around comes around??

Would be convenient for Eli to come up with a small injury before next weekend,

Justin Hill in 11th, not that it's very good just figured I'd point it out.

On Roger and Marvin seeming unhappy, don't they realize how incredibly stupid it would look if Herlings let Marvin pass? It's not like it matters much anyway.

Good redemption for Sexton in 5th after that good-then-disappointing first moto.
8/26/2017 12:23pm
Hopefully AC holds off JM6. AC seems to be a little weaker in the later parts if the motos.

Plessinger and Martin are both exhausting. Martin is a shell of himself and Plessinger seems to be incredibly overhyped. He will never fail to under deliver

Pretty freakin' awesome! Just curious if anyone knows... maybe Newmann knows. I believe Bayle did the same thing as Herlings and won the very first national...

I believe Bayle did the same thing as Herlings and won the very first national he entered... maybe it was the overall. It was Gatorback in 1989.

Can anyone confirm?
No. Gatorback was his 7th race in the USA.

If Tomac has a mechanical on Moto 2, they won't need ream orders, Roger is gonna drag Herlings off the track!

To be honest I thought he was going to flat out smoke the field, impressive but not like holy shit!

Marv hung in there for a while and who knows what Tomac would have done without that little mistake.

Anyways, was awesome to see him win on his first try.

Second moto will be a cruise around and win the championship for Tomac.

I didn't watch this yet. Did they really expect him to let anyone "BYE"? (like Musquin did for Dungey)
Respect to Herlings!

I'm pretty surprised by rumored Hill to JGR deal. I know he won a supercross title, but he has been awful outdoors. And I don't want to take anything away from him because he earned the title, but it really seemed liked the fastest guys were in the East. I'm not sure that deal is going to work out too well.

200 more cc's under Zach and pop in the next moto I reckon you'd get some interesting results
