I'll join you on that. They need to have an interstitial skip button on that MSR ad with Nick Wey. I'm already sick of that artificial tough guy pose. Have him roll through Compton with that gang banger look and see how long he rolls.

+1,000,000,000,000,000 to that, man I friggin hate that ad. I hope they don't start using those on the world wide web so advertisers can get their message out. It will make surfing the net A LOT slower

It's a cool ad and I support the sport but it's too long and you never know when it's going to pop up

OMG!

I totally missed this post! Thanks DOC for standing up against the BS advertising that is going on over here. Its totally unnecessary and highly ineffective. I wish everyone showed your same spirit and passion this place would be better off.

It updates Adblock filter sets... I have not seen an ad in about a year now.

This might get deleted but I usually allow ads on sites I support but when the ads get in the way of functionality it gets a bit much and I just block all.

I had an MSR contract which expired at the end of 08' and I can tell you that while I like the gear, those ads are really too much. Especially sinse Wey didn't really tear it up last year. I cannot stand that 'I think I am tuff and a model at the same time look'. Nick Wey='s Zoolander.

Any ad that *attempts* to make me look, I make a mental note to ignore the ad and especially the advertiser.

Keep on aggravating me you advertisers, I will take my $$$ elsewhere.

nothing is wrong with ads. I agree or like some and others I do not. sometimes I'll try the product sometimes not. Ads are what help keep this site and many BZ, products, and companies going.

I agree with you Kid!

It freaked me out a bit at first but the site has to survive and pay their bills.

They can survive just fine without being obnoxious and a nuisance.

That is so irritating! Networks say they do not do that, but we all know it is BS. Literally the TV is slowly assasinating the hearing ability of people.

I think the ads are fine, I'd like to see a "skip" button because once I've checked it out once I'm ready to click through.

The inters... whatever ads are becoming more common - it's not much different than a commercial - except with these you don't have to turn down the TV!

My only queef is that once I've seen the ad, visited, or not, I want to click through so GuyB, add a skip button for those of us that are supportive, but impatient Smile
