Anyone use the pre curved ones, do you notice a difference? Looking at getting new goggles

Yes, they are better in every way. And you can get "affordable" goggles with these lenses these days. Leatts whole goggle line comes to mind.

Even the entry level Leatt 4.5 goggle has an injection molded lens. I think the MSRP is about 50 bucks for those.

$90 retail for 100% Armegas with clear lenses. They sell injection molded lenses for the older lines too.

The new Eks brand molded lens reminds me of the old Jones goggles which were great!

How do the curved lenses function differently from what many of us have used our whole lives?

Theyre stronger and they don’t distort the image.

I can't tell a difference from a vision standpoint and think that is just a bunch of marketing. However, the extra strength is where they are worth it to me.

I have the Oakley Airbrakes and to me the clarity is extremely better. I really love the difference in the pre curved lenses.

I run armegas. When you hold one of the injection lenses you realize theyre worth it. They are super hardy and offer far more protection from rocks and tree branches over the flimsy standard lenses. I dont notice any vision difference.

Your eyes are worth the extra protection.

I don’t notice a difference until I start stacking tear offs.

When you make a standard lexan lens thicker you lose a ton of clarity. So the injection molded lenses are thicker and stronger and actually are more clear than even the thin lexan lenses. Then on top of that you have the filtering lenses like the Hiper lens on 100% armegas that make bump/ruts/etc more defined so you can see them easier. It's one of those things that until you try it, its hard to explain.
