Since Detroit got bumped off the schedule, I am taking my boys on a road trip to Indy. Do they have open pits? Is there a extra charge? Thanks for any info

From what i remember, they are outside pits, and if you bring an empty monster can you can get into the pits for free, if not, I think its $10 to get in.

Pits are on the southwest corner of the stadium if it's the same.

If its the same as it has been the last 8 years the above info is correct. Pits are outside and monster can gets you in, or you can buy tickets there.

When I went in 2016 they were open pits, but they did not take monster cans like they did in Atlanta that same year. Doesn't mean they won't, but they didn't in 2016. The pass only cost me 10 bucks.
