Here is my spot in the pits for the weekend at the track in Indiana. Right behind Team Gus and Team RCH Soaring Eagle just across from them.

A quick walk through the pit area to see who was here for press day.

Here is the start and the run up to the first corner. The first corner is a off camber style corner.

This is some riders in the 2nd corner during press day.

Most the riders were just doubling the big triple step up jump during press day. But Josh Grant was tripling it for most of the session.

This is a nice left hand corner that crest a hill as you make the turn.

Walking back from the track I catch Jimmy Albertson relaxing and one of the hardest working guys in the pits Tony Berluti.

The only two riders I seen do it were the JGR guys, Brayton once and Grant was doing every lap

Can't wait to see how this track shapes up, DC seems pretty excited about it so I honk we are all in for a great new venue. Great pics DW!

How do they choose who gets to ride press day? Seems like it would be a big advantage in this situation with the first race on it.

Go up to the little search box and type in "who gets to ride press day" and every question you have will more than likely be answered in one of the other 100 threads that ask the same think......................and your welcome.

The off camber 1stish turn should be interesting.
We're going to get back a little Lake Sugartree MX with that start.

I really hope Grant is feeling it this weekend. That dude is so smooth on a motorcycle.

From what I see that track looks awesome. As much as I would like to watch a mudder I really hope the weather holds out so we get a good first time view of it. That uphill step-up is huge and coop didn't even clear it going way outside the track.

They need to make these turns before these so that the 250 guys who are ballsy enough can do the jump. Like this year none of the 250's where hitting Laroccos leap which was pretty lame.

Oh, come on now. You're not playing nice.

American outdoor MX has its roots in SX-styled tracks... built in Wal-Mart parking lots... in the middle of Flat Earth... with extra dust hauled in... and all moisture removed... and 60 mph windstorms that make it look like the Dubai GP... don't they?

I mean, look at its twin National - Pala - and its long and illustrious history, steeped in MX lore. That place has been around forever... and will be here long after the Jonhnny-come-latelies like Unadilla have closed up shop.

I know what you mean there.... you could actually turn a bad gate pick into a good start (regarding Lake Sugar Tree)

that there, is some pretty Indiana dirt.

The downhill shot here looks like the most painful place to crash ever! Man that is fast!
