Funny?

I think it's bloody Brilliant. WoohooWoohoo

They are having a go, in a large variety of classes and with a wide variety of machinery.

Racing. It's a great thing. Blokes and perhaps, some Blokettes, doing far more than sitting in front of a computer / on a device and tapping away.

I always say, if even a poofteenth of a percent of India's / China's and many other Countries populations, get into Dirt Bikes, we'll see a sales boom that makes the fabled 70s Dirt Bike sales boom in Western countries look like a flea on an Elephant.

That's pretty awesome. Never expected to see that from India and it sure looks like everyone... spectators and riders are having a blast.

It all starts somewhere and they will progress if they keep it going. Think about it, another whole MX/SX industry means when people and sponsors start really getting competitive they will need experienced mechanics, rider coaches, track builders etc.

I can only see positives...one of my favourate chows is curry, I can set bikes up pretty good and I can coach riders...and I'll happily take Dollaz if someone is prepared to pay to get the edge over the competition.

So sick, I watched the earlier rounds and their enthusiasm is infectious.

Early days but we can't underestimate what a huge population of passionate and driven people can do in terms of progression for a sport, despite their economic disadvantages.

Look at what has happened in Surfing for example with the Brazilian storm. Basically Brazilians dominate the sport now, even in powerful waves if consequence they are doing airs and breaking the status quo. 10-15 years ago the idea that 3 of the top five surfers would be Brazilian would have been laughable and now it's reality. It's raised the bar of professional surfing.

Would be cool if something similar happens from India taking racing seriously. Some of the changes will be scary but I think it would be a net positive for the sport.

At least they are actually racing. Better than 99% of Vital.

At one point the Europeans looked at us the same way some of you are looking at these moto brothers.

I’m not going to lie , I’m pretty darn impressed. They have made a proper go at it, better effort than most countries outside of USA . Sure they don’t have the entries but “if you build it, they will come” .

Thank you op for posting this, this little bit of international exposure can only help a series like this gain momentum.

And thanks treesnake, now I want a 1/4 bunny chow 😄👍

It is incredibly Indian, so it is is pretty funny from the outside looking in, you only need to look at their cheese-fest action movies (one a while back had a de-Monster-stickered Vaughn Gittin Jr Mustang drift car in it and the cringiest title I have seen, though I can't remember it) to see how their perception of what's 'cool' differs from many others.

Really though, it's just good to see people having fun on bikes, the crowd enjoying it, kids maybe growing up and pursuing a life of doing the same, so who knows where it will grow from there, good luck to them and cool to see when you stop and think about it.

I've been chowing lamb curry for two days now with a few pork sausages in between...

Here's the real thing.

I’m not shitting on them by any means, it was awesome racing.

If you don’t think a scooter punting a kx450f off the track is hilarious I just don’t know what to tell you.

Can't argue with that haha, I've met some great Indian guys and girls just like anybody else from anywhere else, but over there they have a (to most of us) pretty strange way of doing a lot of things and that is an absolutely prime example

For a bit they had one of the chicks from the womens class running the 30 second board in her FXR gear. The dude in the sandals must have had to take a leak.

Next race isn’t until mid October, bummer.

Looked like good racing to me. I had to google TVS, They are made in India. If they are anything like Mahindra tractors they are solid.

I retired from a large Tech company that had 120k employees, lot of them from India. Most were great people, some of the best people I ever worked with other than the ones at executive levels. They came from British hierarchy and were full loaded dickheads.

Indians love motorcycles, no doubt but I did not know they were into motocross type stuff. I've sold some old Yamaha RD parts to guys over there and they love those old bikes.

I watched quite a bit of that and enjoyed it as I did last time . Racing is racing , they are on the right path and it will be interesting to see where MX racing is in India in ten years . They have a love of two wheels as great as anyone , anywhere else in my experience .

Honestly, I love watching MX/SX races from remote areas of the world. I used to watch the Motocross of African Nations highlights on Youtube. It's such a niche sport even in powerhouse nations, so it's cool to see races in places I didn't even know had moto.

This is awesome. Racing we can relate to :D

Those oversize square side numbers should come back. It really helps identifying the riders.

Weege and Ricky have some serious, well worded competition in the booth.
