Close to 18 million motorcycle/scooter sales in India last year is amazing. KTM/Bajah are reaping the benefits also. Local Royal Enfield dealer sells the base model for 5k$.

Its hard to get the numbers but the largest motorcycle mfg in the world now is Hero. Honda's former partner in India. They are the largest and they don't export any motorcycles I believe.
