I get excited for both SX and MX, but by the time SX is nearing its end I get a little bored with it. Same thing with the Nats- by the end of that, I am ready for some SX again, and the cycle continues.
MXON is always fun, but one-off races don't mean as much to me as following a championship.

AMA Outdoors
A-1 Always excited for the opener, then enthusiasm slowly morphs into waiting for the outdoors by rounds 9 or 10.
Costa Mesa Speedway, It's close, easy, up close and personal, and not sitting on the couch in the living room (More fun)

After that it's races on tv

1. A1
2. AMA Nats
3. East coast 250SX
4. MXGP
5. MXdN
6. MEC
7. Watching paint dry
8. RBSR

A1 is clearly the most anticipated race every year, but after about 3 rounds I sort of check out until we get a new batch of riders for East coast SX.

A1 - s always peak excitement, new year, new numbers, new bikes, new teams, it's a fresh start! Then by round 7 it becomes dull and I can't wait for outdoors to start!
AMA nats- mid year fresh start! A breath of fresh air to see big, open tracks, and a different discipline of riding.
MXoN- I'm usually constantly checking for updates to see if it's going to be a good year or a bummer, or if anyone is going to pull off a 07 RV style performance
MEC - if someone is changing teams, it's usually starting here. Not always the best to gauge how next year will go, though, and track is usually boring.
RBSR - I usually forget it happens and wait a few days to watch it. Then I enjoy watching it 100x more than MEC, but forget about it shortly after
MXGP- I try to follow along, and keep up on results, but I've never committed to actually watching an entire race other than highlights. Would probably change if I put more effort into it

1) SX - ONLY because of midwest winter and it provides some indoor entertainment on Sat nights

2) RBSR - rad event, can't wait

3) Outdoors - enjoy watching the most, but usually busy during the warmer months and watch the race during the week as time allows. As a result, I am usually a couple days behind the action

4) MXON

5) MXGP - really don't follow at all

Although I like MX more, something about A1 is special. The entire Supercross/motocross world is watching and weather we like it or not that’s the race that all the manufacturers, gear company’s, etc care about most, thus making it the most pressure filled race to start a season out of the “big 3”. MxDN, MEC are just singular races. No contracts are singed because you win those races, even the MxDN. You win A1, you have secured a factory ride for the next year. Only single race that carries that much weight.
