I'm looking for a new helmet. I know there are a few really good helmets that are expensive. What are some other options in 200-400 range ?

Definitely fly f2. MotoSport has killer deals on some 2015 f2s. Best helmet for the money by far.

Thanks. My peanut head is at 21 3/4" and the sizing chart for a small is 21 1/4"-22" not sure if I should move to the 22"-23" medium. Any recommendations for fit who has the fly helmets?

Ill throw in a +1 for the Fly F2, super comfy and pretty light. Also you can get them super cheap on closeout. I got one of mine for $150 and the other for $80 from RockyMountain.

I'm pretty satisfied with my Bell moto 9 but Shoei VFX-W / Arai MX-V / 6D are always good choices too. IMO
If you don't want another Bell I think the Shoei fits best in your budget.

do your homework, I would stay away from anything made in china. Europe is far ahead of us in technology and safety.

Almost every helmet is made in China. The Bell moto 9 Flex, 6D, Fox V4 and v3 with MIPS, Fly f2 Carbon with MIPS, TLD SE3, and a few others in my closet all have made in China labels. About the only ones that aren't, are Shoei and Arai helmets.

I wear 6D now. My last 2 helmets were shoei vfxw and bell moto 9. For me the 6D fits better, and feels better than the other 2.
But that said, If that's your price range I'd go with Fly. My son wears one and loves it. I think they're the best helmet in that price range.

Exactly why I only wear Shoei. Arai's shape doesn't fit me.
