Why take guys talents away? A lot of the elite guys are good at both, some tried to be good at both and were not and some never even tried SX. You can be good in both, just a couple years ago you had a guy win supercross races, national races and GPs in the same year. What if your that good and you can win in all disciplines?
Yes,it was 1 guy!SX destroyed him,he’s a shadow of his own,sx and mx.Well done.Amen.

Fuck SX. Make it 8-10 rounds starting the first weekend of February with a couple of weekends off which will drag it into the good weather. Its one step advanced from the Monster Jam buffoonery.
It's all about a money, and never gone change. Same in MXGP both of the series wanna grow

Nowadays US based guys are like kitchen food processors, mixing two different diciplines. You know that machine which tries to do everything but does not do anything properly. I'ts litle bit too demanding be on the top of the game in both series SX and MX. At some point you have to sacrifise one of them ,and nd how many guy alreafy known practically SX specialist only?

The main problem in the future will be lack of new riders for SX and MX. Most of the youth these days could care less about motorcycles or racing motocross. The youth want the latest in electronics, their new ride is a smart phone. If you went to your local schools 1-12 grades and asked who rides motorcycles, it would be very few, if any. Then ask who races motocross. This is the real future of our sport and that is not good. Unless you live in the city of Baltimore or another city where they ride dirt bikes on the public streets doing wheelies or you are lucky enough to be close to a motocross track or legal riding area. I live in a rural area where you would think some kids would ride, I never see anybody riding dirt bikes or see a dirt bike in the back of a truck. I do see a few ATVs during hunting season in trucks or on trailers. I know all of the local dealers in my area personally and they are all struggling. They have very few dirt bikes on the showroom floor and do not stock parts or gear due to lack of sales. Their street bike sales are not good either. They just order the minimum amount of dirt bikes required by the OEMs and sell them close to or at cost just to get rid of them or hope another dealer might need one that they might have in stock.

What are Estonian guys like then? You have so much to say about Americans, surely you have something to say about the Motocross powerhouse Estonia? I wonder how many MX masters over there could beat the SX specialists of America?

They are the two main series in the world already, US media just don’t cover it like that.

Want to be the best supercross rider? Race in America and win 450 supercross series.

Want to be the best motocross rider in the world? Race and win MXGP world championship.

It’s possible to enjoy both and also the US Nationals - but winning that series doesn’t prove you are the best in the world until you do it at world championship level. It’s pretty simple and logical.
