Ralph would've been proud of Todd. Please stop bringing those kind of guys in the booth. Get Weege or Blair in for 2022.

I call Bullshit on that. Ralph would have absolutely pulled that out if he would have thought of it.

Ralphy can stay right where he is. Let Blair have the spot full time.

Blair did a great job - announced the race, I don ever remember a cringe moment from him - just good commentary. The announcing complimented the racing rather than being the show

Agree. To be Honest...Blair, RC and Albrecht are a good combo. Would be a good idea (IMO) to have them working full time in 2022.

As a professional writer, I respectfully disagree. Ralph could be cheesy and melodramatic, but his entendres were actually pretty well crafted. "A Colt in a field of stallions" is a real clunker, and insulting to Colt Nichols to boot. Ralph wasn't on Weege's level, but he could spin verbal circles around Todd Harris.

Edited to add: YES to Blair in the booth. Blair bypasses the cheese and focuses right on the action. He is accurate, articulate, and works well with Ricky.

ralphie also had a little equine lingo in his book. when the opportunity presented itself, ralphie wasnt one to shy away from using the term “stablemate”

i dont remember ever hearing it before he started saying it lol. imagine how riled up he would of been during all the webb/roczen moments this year. he would of lost his mind watching mcadoo in atlanta. he wouldnt of had a voice after that residency

The only "hiccup" I can think of is that he used a Rickyism. He said "learning lesson". Other than that he was pretty spot on.

I wonder how changing Ricky’s wing man every race has effected his rythhm and flow this year as well.

You're right, he did! Unsure I vaguely remember Ricky changing it up a little last night with "learning experience" but I was pretty far gone at that point so I can't be 100% I wasn't just hearing things.

(Daniel, FYI, you are supposed to be above all that, so just say "lesson." As for you, Ricky, never change.)

IDK if it was all the healthy, electrolyte rich Monster Energy flowing freely from the tap last night, but both of them were WOUND UP last night. Especially Ricky; everytime they showed him he looked ready to jump right out of his skin.
