I think Brandon would be up there for best style too. The way he cleared that fence at the end , and then grazed off two trucks at Chicken licks raceway , with a packed house? Fans went crazy.
Lmao, a true pioneer.

Gaylon Moiser. He was literally taken away in his prime.

I’ve witnessed everyone in their prime from McGrath onward so I’m gonna have to go with Hannah. Way before I was born and there’s really no good video to watch of him. I just hear stories from everyone in the industry about how amazing he was and how his style was like getting away with murder. I’d love to see that so I can put a picture with the words.

Both feet off the pegs with the throttle pinned. Won a lot of races and championships with a riding style that would kill most riders.

Danny Magoo Chandler ......crazy!
This, this guy had no self preservation instinct what so ever from what I can tell, (he was before my time). JS7 in his prime also had this quality. Great to watch as a fan but no so good for the frontal and temporal lobes of the racer.

RV2. He could have had 4 more SX titles if he kept it rolling after 2014.

Wow...4?
Who would have beat him?? Dungey won the next 3 and Jason Anderson won this year. RV had both those guys covered easily. Only way he doesn't win these next 4 SX championships is if he get's injured or retired (which happened). He probably would have won another 2 or so 450 MX titles as well.

Wow, killer thread. As a motocross fan since the early 70s there is no way to choose only 1. How could you not want to see more of these baddest of the bad:
RC
Roger DeCoster
Magoo
Buckwheat
Marty Smith
Bubba

BadShaw will have more fans tomorrow than anyone. Guaranteed. "Beast from the East", for a Reason. Top and past pros will agree.
