If you could watch any rider in their PRIME for another 3-5 seasons?

DB for sure.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Hannah.

Imagine Hannah vs. RC on equal bikes at their prime. It would be the equivalent of a MX cage match. Checkered flag wouldn't matter, they'd race each other until they ran out of gas and then carry their bikes to the finish line where they would engage in a battle to the death. No other 2 racers have ever had as much determination to win as those 2.

RC would have to run out of gas for Hannah to stay with him.

Everyone's just going to name their favorite rider here. But in all reality if anyone says anyone other than RC then they've got some screws loose.

Fair is fair. Throw RC back to 1978-79 or 1983-4 on those non-cookie cutter tracks. RC's up in the 3rd row by lap 2.

And yes, RC would run out gas outdoors by the time 45 minutes rolls around. Just like O'Mara at the '86 GP.

Travis was always exiting to watch. I never saw him ride in person. Saw RC plenty of times.

There's no questioning RC's speed, results or achievements in the sport but when it comes to watching someone ride a dirtbike you seriously can't go past James Stewart. He is the one rider that made the impossible possible. Whether he crashed out or won that cat had the craziest skills on a dirtbike I've ever seen, Most would look at a track map before anyone had even raced it and most would be thinking to themselves James could Quad that or scrub that or put some crazy rhythm together that no one had even thought about.

So for me when it comes to watching someone for pure skill and excitement JS 7 gets my vote

Not true. Bradshaw was not my favorite rider. Dungey was. I would just rather watch Bradshaw in his prime. RC's awesome, but saw plenty of him and enjoyed watching Bradshaw riding style better. Screws loose here in the 9-1-6.

If you’re saying RC wasn’t fit enough to run 45 minutes I can’t agree with that. He could ride at speed for as long as it took. If that’s not what what you’re saying then carry on.

O'Mara ran out of fuel, handing the GP win over to Hannah.

Can’t pick one, but my top 3. JS7, Windham, Pastrana.

Decoster was so stylish I immediately thought of him. But for all out crazy speed and amazing talent I have to go with Stewart.

Stew on a 125, especially after seeing it live at Hangtown in 2004 against RonRon's 250f.

3 to 5 more seasons of JS259 vs. the four-stroke world would be incredible.

Sorry but was this question based on like to watch or results. If its results then no comparison RC by a country mile now on the other hand if it is about liking to watch the craziest and most stylishly skilled cat to throw a leg over a dirtbike then its JS7 wins this by a country mile.

RC changed this sport by fitness and dedication JS 7 changed the sport in with skill and technique.

I saw Magoo in 82. He scared me with his ability on an open bike.

I never saw RJ ride in person so I still say RJ..too bad his career was shortened.

Can we stretch it. I wish four strokes weren't invented so we got to see the entire RC/CR/JS years play out on two strokes...

00-05 was a time zone full of racing wow moments to me...

I would like to see them 3 go up against Eli and Jeffrey Herlings for a season.
I’m not asking for much... Silly

Carmichael. He would have easily won the Championship that last season when he beat Stewart 7 out of 8 motos on his farewell tour outdoors if he would have hung around. He would have beat him the following season as well, forget Stewarts flat track bully 24-0 jizzfest against Alessi, not happening if RC lines up.

I would have loved to have seen RC banging bars with RV the year after that as well. An old RC against a young RV would be awesome but I'd pick RC - just.

Bob Hannah,Donnie Hansen, Gaylon Moiser, David Bailey all had career shortening or career ending injuries right at their peaks.Thats just the way she goes but...3/5 more years for each would have been nice.I know Hannah's wasn't shortened or ended per se but that accident had a drastic affect on him.
