Heard this on the radio today and thought it was interesting.

So, if you could watch another 3-5 seasons of ANY rider in their prime (past or current), who would it be?

David Bailey, RJ, or Bradshaw.

As a RV fan I've always felt like we were robbed by only seeing him outdoors on a 450 for two seasons. RV in his prime on an outdoor track was a thing of beauty.

That is a tough one. In their prime? I can literally think of a good 20+ rider's. I say that , because there have been a lot of rider's through the years that went on streak's of dominance. And they were all wonderful to watch. Would be impossible for me to pick just one.

knee jerk reaction would be JS, RC, even CR22.

However Id really like to have seen what Kevin Windham, Doug Henry, and Robbie Reynard could have pulled off given their string of injuries and just plain bad luck.

Also David Bailey. The lil professor could have been MC before MC was MC.

I was never a big Stewart fan, but I definitely have to say he did the most jaw dropping things on a bike when he was in his prime, would love to see that again.

RV because we didn't get enough outdoors
DB because we didn't get enough period.
If by 'at their prime' we can erase injuries, then RJ
And of course Bradshaw.

Stefan Everts in his 250cc Honda days
Christophe Pourcel with Pro Circuit Kawasaki
Seb Tortelli like he rode back in 1996-1998 working with Jan de Groot (RIP).
Eric Geboers (RIP) because he was such a stubborn and diehard character.
Ryan Villopoto
Joël Robert, just because he was such a natural born racer.
Robby Reynard without the injuries at his prime

All them in their prime on modern day bikes that would be such cool fights. But the riders we've today like Antonio Cairoli, Jeffrey Herlings, Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen, ... are also class acts so we should be happy that we can watch them race week in week out.

Reynard was only one of maybe 1-2 people who have ever beat RC straight up. Reynard’s problems were obviously injuries, but also, poor guy couldn’t buy a start. Probably one of the worst starters in dirt bike history. From amateurs through pro. He did not know how to start inside the top 20. He’ll inside top 20 would be a good start for him.

So bizarre because his speed and technique was amazing. Just no start skills at all.

I saw a lot of RC, so I am going with someone whom we did not see a lot of racing: Travis
