You would end up with a Husky/KTM 350! Thanks for the feedback when I asked last week. Pulled the trigger on a 2018 Husky 350 and now have two rides on it. Amazing bike. Felt comfortable on it right away. My last steel frame was my 2003 YZ450F (LOVED this bike) and what a difference from the last 15 years of aluminum frames. It felt soft, pliable. So light and nimble. Got the suspension sorted out pretty quickly and feels great-the track got good and properly rough today and this bike took it all in stride. Power for days-still don't know that I found the rev limiter yet, but it still has much better grunt than my 16 Yamaha 250F low and mid. Brakes, clutch, air filter access-all top notch. And oh yeah-electric start, and basically the same weight as my Yamaha 250F. After these two rides, no ragrats-not even one letter!

If there are any tips or suggestions from those that have had these bikes for awhile, I'm all ears.

Congrats. They're great bikes with just the right amount of everything,I love mine. If I can give you one piece of advice, put a shorty fuel tank vent on and do away with the vent that attaches to the frame. The fuel leaking out turned my frame brown and now it looks like shit.

Try dropping a tooth on the front sprocket, you may love it even more than you do now, or not.

The best $12.95 I've ever spent on a bike was getting Motion Pro air bleeders for the forks on my KTM 350. Congrats on the bike.

Thanks ledger-I'm really happy with this thing. And 881 I will play with some gearing once I settle in to this bike a little more. TJ-will do for sure on the bleeders.

I may pick one up as a bridge until I can see how the 2019 KX450 looks and performs...problem is I may never go back to the KX! TongueWhistling

I happened to get a flat front at the track one day and a buddy let me take his KX450 out. I brought it back in 2 laps, it felt like a tank compared to my little ol tree fitty.

I’m on a 17 350sxf, went to a 52t and an fmf F4.1 Ti to get a little more off the bottom. It’s perfect now. Also changed cams on the throttle tube so pull wasn’t so long.

I’ve had a set of bleeders blow out before, never again! It only takes like a minute to bleed them anyways.

17 FX350 here. 13T on the front was a big help. I also drilled my number shrouds and air box. The Husky is a little choked up. I also put a Rekluse 3.0 on mine. Now if I could justify a pipe it's the perfect bike. I LOVE mine!

I hear you. Having ridden a KX 450, while a great bike, it feels like a Harley compared to the Husky-ok I'm being melodramatic here but the difference is substantial. My buddy, who owns the KX I have ridden won't even ride my bike! Its like if you don't want the answer, don't ask the question.

Did your bike come with a different throttle cam like mine did? I was thinking the same thing, that the throttle pull is quite long. Is this the one you switched in? And did you go to the full FMF system or did you just buy the slip on?

I have the orange version of that bike and also came from a 2016 YZ250F.

Good choice. You'll enjoy it.

I went +1 on the rear and it seems to be a really good set up.

When I put them on I was concerned about that, there isn't a ton of thread on there. For me its cumbersome getting both wrenches and taking the bar pad off to access it. I'm probably just being really lazy though.

Going to the quicker throttle cam that it comes with makes the bike feel like there is much more low and mid range power, because it revs up faster. The gray one, it takes two minutes to install. Riding thru the pits becomes a little bit of a pain with the quicker pully. I like the gray one way better, for only moto.

Yeah, it came with another one. If you bought used or lost it no need to worry, the ODI lock on grips has an identical one in the package if you buy a new set. I went with the slip on. I thought about getting the full at once, but I was in unchartered waters with this bike so I started doing one thing at a time to notice what it did. I’m honestly happy with just the slip on.

I use a socket with an extension, just have to roll the bar pad back a little.

Works Connection no loss adapter is awesome to have as well! Everyone that’s used mine has gone out and gotten themselves one.

The exact same thing happened to me. Can't remove the stain.

I tried the smaller front sprocket and thought I liked it until I went back and put the original on the front and added a tooth in the rear. That and the quicker throttle cam made me a happy camper. Love mine and hooked on the 350 for sure.

Nice. Congrats. You were not visiting Florida today were you? I followed one home in the back of a f250 for like 4 hours going South on i75 today in thunderstorms. I thought he waved me over at one point when we were almost stopped for an accident and snaked him pretty good. We were then side by side stopped and i made some really embarrassing motorcyclre hand whip signs we all have mastered at him hoping he noticed my MXGP hat. It was a nice drive.

Sorry no I'm about 2500 miles north of you! My parents wintered in Bonita Springs for the past 19 years but sold this year due to health reasons. I love Florida but never brought my bike when I came down to visit. My sister is a nurse in Naples. Would love to come down with my bike for a change though.

My fc250 does collect quite amount of air in the forks that need bled off. I usually bleed them after every ride.
