Well, come on, Slipdog - don't keep me in suspense - who does this conversion?
Technical Touch sells a kit with the cartridge, bottoming cones and cnc axle lugs. Just remove the lugs from the 4cs or AER forks and put the KYB lugs and it all drops in.

Im doing aer to sss conversion at the moment, no harder than the wp cc to sss conversion although you will need to make some bottem cones.

Wp wasnt able to give me a delivery date for some wp cc cones or i would have used them.

Although im doing the conversion with the longer kyb carts so have an extra spacer to make.

SSS conversion is not even close to cone valves in performance. I've ridden all the conversions even the 52cv. Except the dalsagio or whatever it's called insert. Of course they were all other people's bikes with slightly different valving etc, 48mm cone valves are the best. SSS is just ok, ohlins inserts are better that SSS. Still don't really like AERs. On a side note, can anyone get 52mm CV seal and bushes?

Most of the shops that CAN sell you parts for the 52s wont unless they know you or someone hooks you up. WP is very particular what shops they they sell the parts to and hand them out like they're made of gold or something. In fact, ask WP USA will tell you they DONT SELL, STOCK parts or SERVICE the 52s, period. BS. They're required to do all three if any 250 AMA Pro team uses the 52s in competition, including TLD. They're worse than the authorized WP shops when it comes to information or support for the 52s.

Anyway, it's like fighting City Hall. So, try SKF for the seals and bushings. Many OEMs use their stuff anyway, so just go straight to the source. You'll need to carefully measure the parts so you can use dimensions instead of part numbers to cross reference the SKF part. Or simply call a SKF application engineer and they can probably help.

I was talking with a mechanic at the dealers shop.
And he told me WP is not selling CV 52mm anymore in 2018 (Europe) , you can only lease them through authorised dealers, so they can control it better can keep the CV exclusive.

Anyone know if WP will bring out a new 48mm cone valve fork when the 19's comes out? I see they already have a new Traxx for it.
