This is the James I hope we see minus the crash. Stewart clearing the wall and going 2 seconds a lap faster than the field.

At this point I feel there should be a dedicated JS7 part of the forum.

What if this is the dedicated part of the forum?

I think JS7 should just start his own forum and charge for it. He could afford to go racing then.

You assume that he wants to.

I'd really love to see the James that's referenced in the video above. I'm starting to think that ship has sailed.

Not a bad idea. All the haters would be lined up to talk shit directly to him. Oh wait... they are mostly cowards, so that probably won't work. Tongue

I would rather wait and see than speculate....

If James is coming back at Daytona... Shouldn't someone know what brand? Wouldn't someone have recent video of him riding?

I'd love to see it, but not holding my breath.

I'm a fan of watching James ride like anyone else but he has the absolute worst media skills of any racer ever. He keeps everyone in the dark and goes in his gofer hole in Florida and never comes out. Except for the random cryptic message every couple months to keep everyone hanging on. Super lame! He's a legend for his bike skills but a trainwreck for his media skills.

I'd just like to say that other than the crash, which still seemed like a freak thing to me, he was so smooth and fast in that race. That bike didn't look like a pig at all.

He should pay Roczen to teach him.

So if James is coming back, don't you think it would be in his favour to at least attend a few rounds, do a mini interview, talk to any potential support or just sign a few autographs.
Keep you name and face out there, show people your are keen and at least somewhat serious.

To me it's a bit like going for a new job, you have to sell yourself. Your are only as good as your last one.

Maybe he's happy with what he currently has and doesn't want to waste his weekends watching a race when he could otherwise be riding

So why not turn up and ride it like Dean Wilson did.

I heard Kenny Watson on the Pulp show last night say that he heard that James has the bike all situated but he just hasn't rode it, he didn't know if that was true or not I guess but he was kinda hush about it.

Its all sorted out, but never rode it.

That is some next level testing method right there.
