Who would it be, Roczen, Webb, Marvin, Anderson,...?

I just don't see it from anyone at this point, 3-Peat.

Tomac will be the only one to beat Tomac this year.

Roczen won last week and looked solid this week. He might beat Tomac once or twice more this season. Will he win the 450 outdoor title. Probably not, but...with another overall win and a few more moto wins; he'll have his confidence back and IMO, be a contender indoors and out in 2020. But this year, think Tomac is going to repeat as champ.

If Tomac can start top three and doesn't screw up, absolutely no one. Otherwise, only Musquin or Roczen can approach him. Maybe Osborne with a great start. "On" Baggett is a possible wild card, in the event he decides to show up for a race or two.

So he's back? B/c after checking vital last week I thought he had "lost" it..... If he stays up right he wins min 9 rounds.

I think when Osborne gets a few more rounds under his belt he’ll be up there. He’s starting to find his mojo.

That’s a fact. Tomac is the fastest in the US Nationals by a big margin. It’s a shame we may never get to see Tomac and Roczen compete in the 450’s when both are 100% healthy.

Roczen, IF anyone
It really depends on Tomacs starts. Hopefully more roczen/tomac battles to come this year.

Osbornes day doesn't look exceptional on paper but he did surprise me. His speed especially at the end of the races was amazing. He might steal an overall or two

Too early to tell. Today, Tomac was not to be denied. Roczen, Musquin, Anderson and Osborne were really fast. Webb was solid but not phenomenal. Any of those guys could turn a switch and be faster though.

Roczen maybe, but none of the other guys have much for Eli when he's flowing, outdoors at least. The only thing that can beat Tomac right now is his comfort or the big one.

Marv is stronger on the technical East Coast tracks. He’ll be all Eli can handle at High Point again this year

They've kinda flip-flopped in health and situations since the 13 nationals where they squared off in 250s.

17/18 Kenny's Arms
16 Eli's shoulders, new bike
15 Kenny's back, wasn't in love with the Suzuki yet
14 Eli's collarbone

Shame too because the 13 Nationals was some all time racing between them.

When Baggett is "on" everyone ends up wondering where the little bald guy ran off and disappeared to. High speed, hard pack he can be crazy fast, particularly if there are odd, alternate lines available.

If KR94 can get back to top physical form, he's every bit as quick at Tomac, particularly on technical tracks. As far as technical tracks go, MM25 will really benefit from them too.

I would expect Zacho and Webb to utilize their excellent racecraft and rut skills when the series moves east.

The series is a long way from decided.

I think the only person capable of beating tomac is a healthy and dialed roczen. But for whatever reason i feel like roczen will have many rides stuck in like 4th-6th with no intensity and others where hes gone out front like moto 1 last week.

Tomac leads 3rd and 4th by about 20 points already. Roczens right there in points and i think hes the only threat as of now. But tomac looked happy with the bike and flowing which is bad news for the rest of the field. Hopefully hes dialed in for softer tracks too.

KR94 is probably the only real threat to Tomac. MM will do well but don't see him challenging for the title unless ET has a throwaway race.

Roczen won 20/24 motos in 2016 so he can obviously do it.
Marv must be so sick of getting 2nds but it doesn't seem like he can do anything about it. It looks like he has the speed, endurance and good starts to win, so I don't know what his deal is?
Maybe if Osborne can get some hole shots he will give Eli a fight for his money. That would be fun to watch.

I get what you are saying, I am sure he is sick of it.

We saw what happened in both E/W SX finales this year. Marv being within striking distance when the gate drops on the last moto of the season still gives him a shot. I would think some luck will fall his way if he is able to keep it close.

Surprised only one person has even mentioned Anderson and it was in passing(no pun intended). He got 2nd in the first moto at Hangtown and 3rd overall. And he was 5th overall this weekend. He's two points back of Marv for third in the championship.

Besides Tomac, my money is on Roczen, Osborne, Anderson and Musquin, in that order. And don't count out Webb.

A fun race to watch within the race is the Baker's Boys. JA21, ZO16, MM25 and CW2. Who will come out on top in that group?

It is interesting watching knowing they all practice against each other each week.

It may be tough but I kind of think ZO16 will win that battle in the end.

Between ET and KR for the title. If ET can avoid the big mistake/bad day and mechanical he will take it.

That’s not really true. Anderson was the only guy in Florida working directly with Baker. The other three have been in California
