So with all the top guys minus Anderson getting hurt this year, Would Reed have had a shot at the title if he had come in healthy and ready? Anderson being the obvious exception, but there is a lot of racing to go yet.

If JS7 had...

I’m not so sure if that would have been enough. I think a season beginning fully prepped and ready Reed would have meant he would be around 10th on average. He seems to be very far off the podium pace and I’m not so sure the health/prep would be enough to make up that gap.

Who the fuck knows. Assuming he could: Get better starts like he has on the Husky; ride like he did at Glendale/Vegas last year each time he's comfortable; and he's comfortable and fit at each round... well maybe.

But that speed has been fleeting for a while.

I bet this year just makes him come back next year though. He won't feel right about it like this.

Not a chance in hell. RD5 may have had a shot at it. Maybe.

Not any Chad Reed from the last 3 years. He’s shown signs of speed when the condition have been right for him but he’s done.

He could be top 5 if he started healthy.

Maybe a podium here and there. No way hes a title threat. Those days are long gone
