Wild-ass speculation: JS7 can't pass the medical tests

Did anyone thought about the fact that it's maybe not James his choice that he's not racing? Maybe he just can't pass the medical tests anymore. Some MMA & Boxing stars also retired on the same way, just because they weren't physical fit enough to do what they do.

If I'm not mistaken that is also the reason why TP199 quit racing NASCAR (stronger concussion protocols). But it is just an idea.

EDIT: I don't mean drugs, I mean physical things like punch drunk or some other things that makes that he's a danger to himself and others.

My question is when was the last time there was a drug test in AMA SX/MX?..Oh when JS7 was tested'..Do they even test anymore I find it ironic that there has been very little talk of testing since then!

I wasn't talking about dope, but not I clearly posted in mine opening post. Bye the way you mean something like this: test results 2016. There is only talk when someone screws up.

Forkner said he had to whiz after he won at Washougal. I think they still test the guys it's just that, everyone else passes the tests. All the James fanboyz that claimed RC had to be on the juice and then it's your guy that gets busted is the irony here.

James has been at this a long time. He will be 32 this year and has had some injuries, mainly wrists and knees have been particularly tough for him. He has been in the grind since he was 8 years old probably. I really can't see him coming back on his own dime. If someone wanted to give him a deal like what he had around 2007 or so, then I could see him give it a try.

Or it really as simple as: he now has a family, he has absolutely nothing left to prove, he has been doing it since he could walk, he has no interest spending his own money to be on competitive machinery.

It's possible. He posted on IG back in January that he was going to return and he would "do things on our own", and "it won't be long", "see you soon" etc. That was over four months ago. It's obviously not a financial issue. Why post all that stuff on IG if he was retired?

Yeah I know. But I learned that Adderall can be used to milder the side-effects from multiply concussions. You know stuff like focus, attention, eye-hand coordination, ... combined that with that crazy hit he got in the Dungey crash where he got knock out...

Im pretty sure other riders have been tested. I have heard riders say on Pulp they had to go straight from Podium to get tested, or be late to the press conference bc of testing.

We have tested at least twice every summer since we announced the program. There have been no failed or flagged tests, so you don't hear as much, I guess.

Travis stopped racing Nascar due to lousy results and sponsors pulling the plug.
There was when he broke his foot & leg at XGames right before the season started etc...a few little things too...like the long Nascar season/schedule.
But it boiled down to his results and sponsors backing out.He went on to focus on other things.
Pretty sure he did some rally car and truck racing along with his Nitro Circus stuff after that.


My best guess on JS7 is he focusing on possibly his family and riding some.
I would assume if he ever returns maybe the MEC? But dont hold your breath.

One of the provisions of testing is that they can handle their press responsibilities. They'll have a monitor escorting them, but in some ways it's probably better do to the press conference first. They get time to down some recovery drink and water.

There are millions of dollars to be made in the sport, and many will use any means necessary to be successful....legal or otherwise. Always have in any form of competition. Always will. DC is a good dude, but given his position in the sport I doubt if he will give his honest opinion of performance enhancing drugs in mx/sx. All good.
