Although it looks great, it might take away from us as spectators from getting close to factory bikes. What do you think? Will this be a Trend in the future?

MX is slowly turning into a Moto GP kind of scenery where public is each time more restricted to be close to the riders, and that I don't like.

Friday afternoon at the office got me bored..

MXGP introducing cool features this year, I love the idea of a perpetual trophy to be handed year after year. The champion getting his name perpetually engraved like an historical monument.

And by the way, how is that worse than when it’s cold or raining, when they put up those hard to see thru semi-clear plastic windows on the tent ?

I just saw they shared this on the MXGP round 1 threat already.

That's amazing and i bet other teams follow suit in the paddock. US is next. This will be nice for the mechanics when it's smoking hot or freezing cold.

Is HRC still the only team in MXGP using the hospitaly rig like F1?

How much would that cost compared to a conventional trailer and awning.
Kimi looks after his crew that’s for sure.

Every gp/mxon I have been to (aside the 2 fly aways) have have the sides up so you couldn’t even see in. So to me, this looks much better. At least you can see the bikes and everything through the windows. I like it.

Not only does it take 5 guys 5 hours to put the other one up, it has to be done on Thursday. so they have to be there. Close up it is a beautiful piece of work, and like has been said, its far more fan friendly than awnings with the sides down.

That said it will almost certainly have the glass that goes white at the flick of a switch.

It did take 4 guys to get the bike in though. That needs work .

I heard it only takes 20mins to set-up.

Yeah you can transport everything already set up and all you have to do when you get there is just slide it out. It’s very clever and it saves a lot of time

Pretty modern isn't it. Pretty warm inside too although that may have been because it was so cold outside! Even has automatic doors to wheel the bike out/walk through. Every other team had their awnings zipped up so there wasn't much on display Friday or Saturday besides the Husqvarna's.
