Can anyone explain to me why people want $1,500-$2,000 for a clapped out 06 KLX when new ones are like $2,200?

I’m buying my girlfriend and I CRF110’s and I cruised Craigslist to see what’s out there on the used market and came away really confused. What am I missing?

People are stupid I see guys trying to get more for 17-18s than a new one off the floor will cost me
