Seems like most of the guys refer to this place at some stage in interviews, wonder which pros (and how often) come on here for a secret wee snoop around? My guess is it could be more than we might expect. Although they are super human and super busy athletes, I bet late at night chilling out on their sofas after a day of training with their feet up checking emails on their laptops... I bet curiosity gets the better of a lot of them!

Often it seems like some riders are strangely in tune with what has been said on here. Heres my guess list of lurkers to get things started:

Larry Brookes (clearly)
Jeff Alessi (Clearly)

Must be tempting at times to post and put a fork in the constant BS... But I'm sure it's in their best interest to stay as far away as possible. They would be attacked, ass-licked and involuntary shit stirrers. When it turns out they are rather normal (or oddballs maybe) like us the star-status might fade some as well which their sponsors might no like?

star-status?!?!?... Don't put people up on pedestals, it only leads to disappointment. The "Pro's" can ride dirk bikes fast, BUT at the end of the day they'll just peeps.

Yep, but I actually think its cool that guys like Hamblin and DV get on here and argue with guys. Makes them seem normal and not so much like a robot........as well as it shows what a fan of the sport they really are. Thats cool to a guy like me.

Totally agree about that, but as a rider, seeing a pro riding ride makes me loose all concepts of equality and makes me an admirer. But I know that the moment they start talking to us on here or in real life and become "one of us" their normality shatters all that glowing for me. It's not possible to keep up with the primitive expectations my brain has I created in the hope that super talented must mean super intelligent or special. Those people don't end up as riders to my knowledge...



I honestly loose all concepts when I see RC or Stew ride, I get goose bumps and want to buy their gear, bike etc. At times I like the feeling to let go of all reason sense hence this "star thing"...
