Best of Luck on your next chapter. I hope it’s your decision to walk and not influenced by the talk of others. Your talented at what you do. I understand the traveling grind, over 10 yrs of pipeline work. Flights get old storms grounding all flights, etc. I had a lot of family and friends always on me, to get off the road. So one day I did, local people really don’t do much. I missed traveling , so I went trucking. I don’t suggest that.

Congrats on a great career and steering the good ship Vital away from the many rocks, meltdowns and whirlpools you have encountered whilst at the helm.
Been great knowing you and meeting up at Budds Creek and MXDN 's over the years.
Have fun!!!!!!!!!!WoohooGrinningSillyCheerfulCheerfulCool

Thanks Steve for all that you've done for this site, and covering the sport of course! It was a pleasure getting to meet Grant and yourself a couple years back. My real question is, is this secretly a sharp turn into a full-time iRacing career?

Thank you so much for all you’ve done Steve. I love this sport and I love this site more than any other place on the web. Your work will be missed but I hope you stick around for the banter on here! Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

I wish I was fast enough to even consider that. 😏

Vital's been one of the few media(all) constants for me since 2011 and (obviously) you were a big part of that Steve. Congratulations and Thanks! And yes, I visited the home page today. Wink

Dude, thanks for not going too crazy on this wacky forum... all those miles do wear on ya... I used to LOVE to travel when I was in my 20s-40s... but now days, I've seen all that I want to see...

Hope you settle into a job that is much more family friendly.... and hope you retire as soon as ya can....

60 is too old to be babysitting and editing all night. Great work over the years GuyB and good luck on your new journey.

Before you leave, make the upvotes anonymous. This site is setup to be negative the way it is now. There will be much more positivity (upvotes) once your members (the majority) can vote in anonymity and avoid confrontation from the vital pitch fork gang. Members will be able to agree with controversial members they don't normally agree with, and also be able to state their opinion in controversial topics without fear of getting profiled from an exposed upvote.

Until then, the majority of the vital posts will continue to portray a very inaccurate general consensus of negativity.

Adios and we'll see you at select races.
