Wow, you are a huge part of the moto community and I hope you stick around in some capacity Smile

I hope the retinal tear and years of wear from following the schedule don't weigh too heavily on you. Good luck with whatever is next, I never expected this day to come.

I'm glad I met you in person in Atlanta 2018 walking through the pits.

Thank you GuyB for your service to the moto community. I’m shocked to read you are over 60. You sure have done a great job taking care of yourself (I would have guessed late 40’s or early 50’s).

I wish you the best and hope you chime in from time to time, or however much you please. Rock on!

Maybe include online babysitter for VitalMX on the next job resume??

I had to log-in just to say "Thanks!" for all the awesome content. And you've delivered that content without the ahem... without the "drama" that comes with some of the so-called "journalists".

Here's to whatever is next, Steve.

Like a man with a size 13 boot and a size 9 slipper, your shoes are unique. Difficult to fit. You’ve done well. Be proud. Here’s the girl with the motocross tattoo.

Wow!!!

Did not see that coming. Congratulations on a fantastic career behind the lens.

I've been on this forum/site for 10 years and feel that over the decade have gotten to know you as more than just the forum mod/photographer/content creator. You've put your time into the sport and have helped moto transition into the digital and social media age.

To what capacity will you still be involved with the site and Vital brand??

Good for you and I wish you the very best.

I remember us and a bunch of folks in the old AOL Chats all day and then one day you mentioned starting Motodrive and then it took off.

Super happy for you. We can get our lark scooters, go cruise the beach with metal detectors and wait for the early bird

Most importantly, THANK YOU

Thank you for all of your support, help, guidance and even the occasional "STFU, stupid"

Thank you for everything. I stumbled on this forum as a teen, won a contest years later and some bitchin RaceTech suspension. Then was a fortunate enough to have a few jobs in the industry, and for a few solid years straight, got to see you do your thing in person at the races and even have lunch together a few times. You are the definition of a nice guy, class act, hard working type. Thanks again for the Bobby Q's recco in AZ , now a FOR SURE stop anytime I am out there. Cheers GUYB.

Steve, congratulations on your decision! I’m sure it was difficult to to separate your emotions from the physical demands of the work. Thank you for going the extra mile to provide us with great content. I rarely miss a day without checking in on the main page and forum. I’m guilty of taking your work for granted and know your personal content will be missed. I can relate to your story, especially the recovery time needed! It was my pleasure to meet you and enjoyed following the banter with TFS (Steve) , Engine Ice Dave etc over the years. I’ll miss the pleas to free.......GuyB. You have provided me with hours of entertainment daily. The industry will miss your presence. I wish you and your family health, happiness in the next chapter of life. You’ve done good, real good.

You’ve lived a work life in the MX and SX world that many of us greatly admired. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

So, are you stepping into full-on Gone Fishin' retirement, or are you just giving up your Pixel Monkey title and moving on to another role with Vital? If it's the former; I wish you the best in everything you do. If it's the latter; see ya around the looney bin!

It's all TBD at this point...other than it's too early for full-on retirement. Also, Mrs. GuyB will be almost ten years behind me in retirement. Smile

Thank you for all you have done for moto! There are a few idiots who may disagree, cause problems or just be a general pain in the ass on vital.... but it's just a few. This forum is filled with a bunch of solid people, you did an amazing job! You have had an amazing run! Nothing but the best to you and I'm sure your next venture will be just as amazing!
