Other than that there who really gives a shit about L&M???
Are all thirty of you are going to really put the pressure all on Stewart's sponsors?
The Shop
How you doing bud?
Team Drama Queen should look into hooking up with the Kleenex or Puffs folks as sponsors. Then each time someone on their team wants to cry about something during a tv interview they can pull out one of their sponsors tissues to dab at their tears.
If James and Chad are there then great, if not the racing will be good and we will see some new winners.
Win win situation.
BTW: I think RV is getting lost in the mix of all this drama and he might come in under the radar and surprise everyone. My guess is that he and his equipment will be better prepared than anyone else on the track.
I could care less about L&M and any of that stuff. Im gonna go watch the race at Freestone regardless of who's at the gate. No single rider is bigger than motocross itself.
Jim, if Vitaldrive is any indication, the kid already is the second coming of Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath combined
I telling you that RV and his team will be ready and well prepared. I am not so sure about Stewart and Reed.
if you look real close you can see RV riding trials in On Any Sunday. He was pretty good, too.
I'm also pretty sure it was him who took out Mouse Mccoy at the end of the Baja 1000 in Dust to Glory.
1. SX = more TV exposure = more cash for sponsors, team and riders.
2. More cash has become enough cash to become rich, no need to do MX as well with all the risk, traveling etc involved.
3. Team L&M is a business. There only purpose is to do money, which happens to be in an area they like (I get the impression Larry and gang likes scooters). They not doing any MX isn't really a mystery or should come as a chock. They have always focused on SX.
4. James decided to do SX only because MX didn't add enough to the bank. Follow the money, occam's razor end of story.
Hey, if you had the possibility to do what James do, would you really do MX? This is a job for them, not a hobby. Doing the nats might be smart move since another national title will boost James value and boost his ego/pride. Face it people, RC had to fight to do the MXDN 2003 which should indicate what's this is more business, than some love for riding and competition.
Make sense in my rudimentary intellect.
James saves face by blaming it on L+M, and L+M says it's a contract and no money in the budget. Bottom line is James is not racing 12 rounds of MX this year.

Seems to me that the only reason everybody is talking about James doing the Nationals at this point in time is because he's having second thoughts about deciding to go SX only. I'm not a Brooks fan, but I don't see that being the fault of L&M or his contract. LB must be a bit uncomfy with the 'I'd like to but...' talk and that this keeps dragging on, that's likely not in the contract either.
Biggest bunch of crybabys, ever.
Just tried to make a point about James... I realize that is a futile effort.
The other day, when the rumors started flying around that Bubba was going to be at Glen Helen I have to admit I was excited and happy that we were going to see him flying around a national outdoor track and get more of him then what I thought I was going to in the beginning. But if he doesn't race outdoors, well than I'm just going to happy that Bubba gave us a awesome 2009 supercross series and leave it at that.
I'm going to go to Glen Helen and watch the races. Who ever is racing is who I'm going to watch. It's the outdoor national, support it.
