The 250 guys are putting on a show that is amazing to watch. It seems like for the entire 30+2 you could through a blanket over all 4 guys. That pass BB just put on JB was amazing. He just held it on and drove it across that corner.

Yep. If Reed, RV, Stewart, and Canard were all healthy it would be the perfect year... Stacked. Hopeful for next year with Deano also on a 450.

At least Alessi put up a fight.. futile against the Dunge, but at least he didn't make it too easy.

But yes, is getting harder to stay glued to the 450 class. Esp when you consider how exciting it was this time last year...

I really hope Wilson & Barcia officially join the big 4 next year....

I care but I just won't watch it. There isn't anything exciting. 250's are killing it and the racing is amazing.

I have always liked the drama of the 125/250F class more. I love the 450's what those guys do with those bikes is amazing. But watching someone ring the neck of a bike and ride it to it's limits is just amazing.

450 class, whats that? Watching paint dry! I am glued to the tv during the 250 class and do other things once Dungy takes the lead in the 450s.

I fast forwarded through the second 450 moto and went right to the 250. That's where the racing is. The 450 class is just awful this year. 250 guys are pulling better lap times than 450 guys sans Dungey.

I do care and watch the 450's, mainly to see who comes in second through tenth... good to see Alessi doing well... interesting to watch other guys like shorty flounder again a relatively weak field....

It would be exciting if the camera weren't on the leader for the whole moto.

Don't bother, they don't care what their customers think. For the most part they just patronize and talk down to us. I appreciate the offer though.

I love all MX racing. I even pay attention to the PeeWee class at our local race track, because I can ALWAYS find some good racing going on somewhere on the track. Having said that, I found it curious yesterday when, with about 5 laps to go in the 450 moto, the TV coverage went to a profile of Chad Reed and only went back to the racing on the last lap. Now, I like Chad just fine, and I know Dungey was way out in front in the lead...but was there really NO other racing on the track in the last 5 laps of the race worth watching?

Event though the 450 class is pretty boring I will continue to watch them race because I love this sport and I have mad respect for every rider that lines up on a 40 man gate at a pro national. And there has been some pretty good battles inside the top ten.

Instead of whining about how boring the 450 class is on a message board, why don't you guys go and try to qualify for the boring race. That should make a little more exciting for ya.

Makes Dungey's riding all the more impressive. It's not like Alessi, Brayton, Millsaps, Short, etc. all suck, just that Dungey is so much faster. But yea, from a ricing perspective, the racing is not so great.

I guess I was commenting more on your thread title, where you went with a negative, rather than the positive. For most of the season the 250s have produced better racing. That's nothing new.

(Here comes the talking down to you part.) But rather than commenting on the 250s being amazing, you made it a point to criticize the 450s...like your opinion on the topic is an amazing revelation. It would fit in well on somewhere like Twitter, though, where people are waiting for tweets like, "I just took my next breath. I'm making plans for the next one." Wink

Saying that I no longer care about the 450 class is being negative? Maybe if I said the 450 class sucked, that would be negative but I was simply saying that it doesn't have my attention anymore because the 250s are that good. Steve, we're not all journalists. We don't all have to walk the tightrope of making sure that everyone likes us so we won't be alienated and for God's sake, this isn't a support group. Does every post have to be sunshine and butterflies? Are the 450 guys going to band together and pull a "Hevan's Gate" move on use because they lost my interest for the time being?
