Rick hocking blew by me on the flat track road section, got him back in the sand wash. Tony d passed me on a edge of cliff section, I didn't get him back.

I remember a Brad Lackey comment about that race. He was still on a factory Honda and was shocked at how fast The California Maicos were. He said something about Maicos not running like that over in Europe- wasn't ready to get passed by one
while riding a works Honda.You and Shultz and Magoo were all on Maicos - some other guys too probably. Were those all Wheelsmith engines? What did you guys do to those things?
