I so wished Mr. Beasley would Get rid of where they run the starting gate. The way it's set up anybody lined up to the far outside is automatically screwed. At least angle it somehow to were riders on the outside have a shot. Watch every holeshot will come from the very inside gate, the first four, five inside gate picks will hotshot every moto tomorrow... They should put it back by the barn.

I don't think he's the promoter for this one. I think it's handed off to Tim Cotter.

Interesting, I didn't know that. That would be kinda cool running the start thru turn 9 and run straight up the hill. Or they could go old school and put the start back by 15 and go straight up that hill, then that sharp right and go back down 13,14,15. When I used to race I loved it When we sho t straight up the steep hill just pinned.

I don't think it could go to 9 due to the pond. But I don't know of anyone who likes the start since they moved it from the top of the hill before Des Nations.

It's the worst start in the series in my opinion. Especially because it's not easy to make passes at Budds

Put it back where it was originally. Sucks for viewing for the fans that are there but would be a good one for TV.

Nice decent length steep uphill to a right handed first turn then right back down a decent hill. Used to love that start.

I don't think it's that bad, it's not fair but it's the same as most supercross starts....

They could just angle the gate and pull the inside back and open up the outside a little to make it more fair inside to outside.

I don't think Beasley has much say anymore of what goes on at Budds Creek. Last I heard, some group bough the track a few years ago and Beasley just operates and maintains it. It's funny how great the track has been and will be for the race tomorrow, but I've been there for a few practice days and a race on Saturday, the track was horrible. No track prep at all. A lot of riders were pissed paying 40 bones to ride a national caliber track that wasn't prepped.

My vote would be High Point.

There's been a handful of guys that have got the holeshot from the outside hasn't there? Outside usually ends up getting fked over though.... That's moto for ya

I agree about moving the start. I'm not sure who is charge of moving it, but I preferred the start by the barn vs. the uphill and the current area. (For racing and for spectating)

Speaking of Budds MXoN, here's a cool recap video that even includes some Tony Cairoli and RV footage along with KR94 supermini action.

For context for this weekend's race, 2006 was Dungey's trail year where he went from the B-class to racing the final few rounds of the outdoors, and Chase Sexton was 5 years old.
