Here’s the poster for the Road Atlanta round in the newsprint above. I’ve had this hanging up since 1980. My buddy and I got up early and “borrowed” his mom’s Vega and drove to the race. Neither one of us were old enough to drive. We snuck into the pits and saw Hannah, Laporte, Burgette, and all the pros. It was a great day! I have pictures from inside the pits too. I’ll post them sometime.

Yes they were great times,i have most the of the posters and even kept some of the programs.One day i will get them mounted.

Certainly was prime time for Aussie Motocross, big number of riders (second row starts were common) and huge crowds. I had the posters on my wall too, mostly 80s but this is the earliest I can remember:
