...but, I still had to laugh at the Panda's interview. The Professor had it right...we're usually the dumb-asses that can't speak a second language...but still...

I think Panda speaks more languages then 2.
In Belgium 3 languages are spoken. French, dutch and german. Most people speak at least 2 of those and some of them add english to that list.

I must however admit that Panda's english was not as good as i expected but ok. He's from the french speaking part of Belgium and people from that part are not so used to english as the people from the dutch speaking part.

And yup.. it kinda was funny :D

You need to also realize the kid was probably pretty nervous.

I respect those guys a lot for that, like Bailey said, if an American went over there and won they wouldn't have a clue what to say. It's cool.

I really hope Bailey is in the booth for SX next year. He's by far the best announcer in the business.

Erin was merciless, if a bit dense, continuing with the question when it was clear he was doing the "deer in the headlights" not understanding what she as asking.

Desalle thanked his girlfriend and puppy on the podium.

Larry Brooks is typing his next column as we speak.

Belgium is not a language, we speak dutch, french or german, or usually 2 of those.

Ok, that interview was funny, but u guys ride WFO for 30+2 and do an interview in a language that u have basic knowledge off.

Remember, he's there to race not to give a speech.

Seriously??? I can't stand to listen to Bailey. All I ever hear is "I did this... or I did that.... or when I use to come here". I can do without it. Give me RC anyday. Or Fro, Or.....just about anyone. As far as Erin, she can join Bailey as far as I'm concerned. Loved the guy as a racer but the ego is just to much to stomach for a whole hour.

When Racer X interviews him tomorrow or the next day i'm sure he'll answer the question about the competition.

Masu just did okay with her podium interview. She actually spoke clearer than my boss did at Abercrombie, and she has been here for like 7 years.

Or maybe you just judge her based on looks, not her interview skills.

Erin has her issues, but Erin Normoyle isn't better. The time they give to her is useless.
