I had a shower thought about restructuring the classes. Is this a stupid idea?

First off, I think the 250 class is as impressive as the 450 class. What about making the 250 class not regional, and have them race the same amount of races as the 450's? Then have a regional 125cc class for the riders for their first couple years as pro? And letting kids turn pro at 16 again. This may be a stupid idea, but just wanted to see what you think you guys think.

Figured it was dumb. But man that would be awesome to watch. I just do the think the 450 class is the premium class. The 250 class is just as good. In fact, I like watching the 250's better. The 450's are just way to over powered for racing in a stadium.

Its not dumb but the 125 thing needs to get out of peoples head. Literally 3 companies make 125s. Its not gonna happen until all 6 brands make 125s. Which isnt gonna happen. Also where exactly in the night program will we fit 125 heats, lcq and mains? We cant.

I totally agree about the 250 class being a full series. Tons of talent to fight for 450 rides.

Not sure I can commit to this new class structure unless you can guarantee grid starts.

Yeah. Honestly, take the 125's out of my theory. Because you are right, there aren't enough manufacturers. But, it would be awesome to see the 250 class treated as an equal to the 450 class. Just let it be an option, and not considered a stepping stone class. I mean, there have been numerous races where the fastest time was by a 250 rider. The whole regional thing is just retarded to me. There is rarely a section or jump that the 250's can't do. It's not like the way it was when it was when the 125's couldn't even do some of the triples. They should both be treated as a premier class in my opinion.

There would be less 250 rides if it was a full series.

That's very true. So this was more like a dream than a practical option. That would be awesome for fans, but terrible for the riders.

As fans we should not be concerned about how many rides are available, we want entertainment. And you idea of combing the 2 coast would be excellent for the fans. It’s been mentioned before and with Feld running the show I imagine it will happen at some point
