What Do the little GREEN up arrows mean? There is no lexicon that explains some of the SX Live Timing features. The red (fastest time) I get, but what do the small green up arrows mean on the splits?

I think it means they moved up over their last lap?

Yup, it indicates a change of position from the last lap. Green up arrow means they've moved up, Red down arrow means they've moved down in position.

I thought it meant that this lap was faster than their previous lap?

I'm not sure that is correct, over in the split columns. In the center columns there is a green triangle that will indicate a position change--and a red triangle that indicates a position loss, but the right splits columns seem to be different.
