RV is up12 points on Millsaps and 22 points up on Dungey.

Move it up to Salt Lake and you have a bet. We all know SX is all about starts and RV for some reason (?) has been getting the starts, kinda why SX is really just entertainment. Hopefully this will mix up some in the last 5 rounds but if not kinda hard for the other top guys to make up points. So, if you really believe in RV being capable when not getting the best start, let's go!

So! Huskerdoo, what you're asking is for RV to basically to have the title ( 26 points ) wrapped up, before Salt Lake, that's 14 points in the Houston, Minneapolis and Seattle rounds in addition to the 12 points he's over Milsaps right now. I guess a Tie would go to Villopoto if managed 13 points and got 25. That's a pretty Tall order MXR, Don't Budge on the original have the Title wrapped up by Las Vegas Bet.

well mathematically u cant wrap it up till u have what 40 , 50 pts on 2nd??? remember now , rv hasent finished a full season of sx , only one was 2011

25 before Vegas and 50 by Salt Lake assuming that RV has the most wins.

FWIW.....I'm not sure on the points gap thing..........but I think RV is going to win this thing going away. Unless a bad wreck or something like happens , I don't see really anyone beating him strait up for a race , never mind the title.

I love SX, but it's such a downer that every year we start off thinking that it's going to be competitive and then by the half way point in the season, you pretty much know whose gonna win the championship. Just check RacerX.com Sunday morning to see how they finished behind RV.

There is still 50 points up for grabs, if RV loses 1 point this week , I win the bet. if he gains one MXR wins.

At one point I'd have thought it'd be tough to wrap it up before Vegas. Now? He should be celebrating in SLC next Saturday night. That string of wins in the middle of the season was impressive. He definitely has a Full Kill setting. When he hits that? Look out.
