Frame, lame.

All that happened was he had a slightly better day in a depleted field and didn't do his usual race backwards.

He will need to string the next two together and rail some more outsides to be convincing.

Or, he's a sawdust and woodchip specialist.

The best way to evaluate the data of his results is to view how many seconds he was off the lead. Cooper can't control who's at the race or who isn't so that's a ridiculous way to determine improvements. However he can always see if he was closer to the leaders at the end of the race.
Correct, but you forgot to mention that he can’t control the temperature either for those that are using the heat as another excuse. Wink

Idc what anyone says, the 07-09 Yamaha chassis was amazing. If it was fuel injected, you would have a hard time convincing me to run something else.

It’s absolutely dumb how stable it was. Didn’t turn as sharp in tight inside dives like other bikes but if you were familiar with what the bike did and when it would do it, it would turn.
How good was Bubba on the '09! Just wish he raced that summer on it. And how different would his results have been if Yamaha didn't do a complete 180 with the design of the bike?

Serious question here:

With the ability to run a frame that’s design is 5 years old (I thought it was 2 years but I’m an amateur) has any manufacturer tried designing SX and MX frames for production bikes every other few years?

For instance, if a frame was built ridgid good for tight point and shoot style SX racing, and the next generation frame was built with more flex that suited long rough MX style racing. If this was done race teams be able to use the different generation frames for multiple years in each discipline giving teams better ability to set up chassis.

Do you guys think that would benefit riders/teams in preseason testing and racing?
