The exact quote was that he could beat any American but Stewart. He is fast enough, I think. We'll see.

I like the confidence, better then 95% of the guys here who settle for 5th on back and are beat before they even hit the starting gate !! I hope he backs it up.

How come we don't hear more about the true sand specialists, Arab riders? I'll bet those guys could give De Reuver a run for his euro. . .

It is a problem. Not really talked about much, but that is why Michael Jackson likes the ME.

I suppose we will see. A fast rider is a fast rider; Stewart can beat 'em all in the sand, hard pack, soft stuff, and rocky tracks.

guess he hasnt heard that alot of our top riders hail from florida??Grinning
Not only that but two of the greatest racers, JS and RC, both raced at Dade City, and its known for the sand. Thats why no one can keep up with them.

I really have no respect for people who talk about how awesome they are before they validate it with results. Alot can happen in the sand remember a few years ago when Everts was killing everyone and at the famous beach race David Knight beat him. HA, but Everts took it like a champion. With a phrase like "I can beat any American in the sand' I do not care if he does poduim he is still an ass. If he said "I should do well in the sand' then I would be excited to see him ride, but kicking metaphorical sand in the AMA riders face to me is a low blow and puts a target on his back.--
