Kenny, Marv, and Eli have a combined 0 sx championships n not many wins. Eli just started winning multiple races last year and is probably only around 10 total and Marv just won his first race last year. Kenny probably doesn’t even have 10 wins in sx and Marv and Anderson have Iike 2 each. How are they so much better than Coop right now?

1981 Mark Barnett won the 125cc motocross and 250cc supercross. Does that count? Woohoo
Or Jeff Ward won the 1984 125 Nationals then the 1985 250 Supercross and 250 Nationals.

But both had raced 250 Supercross before their championship season. Mainly because there wasn't a support class back then.

I don't have a lot of faith in him. I don't think he stacks up to Eli, Marvin, Ken or Jason A. I think Cooper will be a 5th-8th place guy. Not saying that's bad, but I don't believe he will be a championship contender.

Deja Vu. When Tomac was in his first or second year in the 450, someone said the exact same thing about him. They literally said "5th-8th place guy." They ate some serious crow. I don't believe Webb will be a contender this year, but I think he'll score some podiums and I do believe he'll be a 450 champion before too long.
Well that someone was an idiot. I'll stick to Cooper being a 5th-8th place guy until proven otherwise. Do I think he will get a few podiums and a win here and there? Certainly. But I don't believe he will be a legit title contender. Eli, Marvin and Ken (hopefully) are on another level. Jason is just a small step behind them.

If he doesn’t kill it on the first couple races he needs to go shopping for a white or orange ride. I beleive he needs a bike that can be ridden aggressively, not an aggressive bike. I have faith in cooper but I don’t believe the yz450 is a good match for him and his size.

I like Cooper till he opens his mouth then not as much. He talks to much shit at times and comes off as a right dick. When he keeps his mouth in check I start liking him again to he goes off on one and I remember why I don't like him.
Agree. Not the most humble or down to earth rider out there. He’s giving it all he’s got and that’s respectable, though. I don’t cheer for the kid but don’t wish ill will on him either
