Yep it’s that time of year folks for the grueling 4 LAKE/ 4 SALOON Ride.
This Ride is not for the squeamish (lots of ground to cover), and after the recent storm hopefully there will still be some snow on top of 4 PEAKS.
Leaving 8am outa Apache Junction and going by these Lakes and Saloons in order:
Saquaro/Roosevelt/Apache/Canyon
Butcher Hook/Apache Lake Resort/Tortilla Flat/Mammoth Saloon
Anyone have a DualSport, come on out!
The girls at the Bordello will be waiting for your arrival to sooth any aching muscles….

My Mom lives in Mesa and I come to visit now and then, was just out there and at that mining town. Cool stuff.

Anyway great post. Be sure to put up the pictures from this year's ride. I wish I was going with you.

Next time your in Mesa, give me a call, we can go riding if you bring gear.
Thanks!
This year there were some new riders some of who I had never met, but hey that’s the beauty of riding dirt bikes anyway—we are all brothers with the same common bond of riding.
Nick, who had seen my previous Slideshow from last year’s ride when only Bill and I partaked decided to join us along with a couple of his buddies.
I also recruited Danny who I had never ridden with and Don showed up with a new “Secret Weapon”. A clean XL 650 would go on her maiden voyage and by the end she was more than “broke in”.
So there were all kinds of unexpected unknowns for us and after 160 miles and 5.5 hours in the saddle (moving time) we all survived—just barely.
Hope you enjoy the pics,
G

Thanks Crash, how ya doing?
How about Pops is he still riding the DRZ?
That’s some funny ass shit—sorry for confusing you with my good buddy Crash from Alabama (I miss that guy, where is he)?
Anyway thanks for the mad props—soon we will be trolling the lakes looking for tail. They luv to take off their tops at the lake for some strange reason…

But if there are any Russian Brides you know of that are beautiful (like the one on my left) with Big TaTa’s, please send them to AZ…
Thanks in advance,
G
There are so many dummies who go up there un-prepared. Couldn't believe those 3 guys last yr who were searching for the Lost Dutchman Gold with hardly any water--got lost and died.
Don't think they found them for months later.
That's also where the plane ran into the mountain last Thanksgiving--that was weird as they had done that flight many times.
Poor mom lost 3 kids, and ex-husband.
