Track is looking sweet and love the RM250, even got to see the bike on video as you were picking it up from your soil sample! How did you end up finishing overall?

Despite the little dirt nap with a lap and a half to go I still managed to finish second. =)

Isn't it nice how a GOPRO makes all those brake bumps and the rolling whoops going into the sweeper disappear.... If i wasn't such a bobble head you would never know Smile

What'd you lose, three spots on the spin-out, and got all three back?

Yup, got them all right back. One of those days where everything comes together other than the tip over and wishing I could take my skirt off and get over that step up! Getting old and cautious sucks sometimes! LOL

Any of you folks that have never raced at Winchester Speedpark should come check us out.
It is a nice deep loamy soil and we let it get rough, the only grooming done is to take away sharp edges on jumps and to make the first turn safe.
Other than that she gets rough and rutted with multiple line choices in every section.

We also have an outdoor SX track located on the property that we run races on for our series.

July 7th and 8th we have a double weekend on that MX track.
BBQ and Fireworks for the kids Saturday night and great racing both days.
KTM and Husky payout Sat......Honda, KTM and Husky payout Sun.

Comes with the territory. Smile

Those posts you have on the inside of the corners spook me. Especially on the inside of the first turn at the start.

Steve you should come up if you are going to be around the area after Southwick.
We are an hour north of there just as you cross into NH and are having our Vet racing event that Sunday.

Might even be in between for you if you're heading to Dilla after 338
Beautiful scenery and camping in Southern NH for a couple days.

I think I'm actually going to modify the Summer Tour a bit this year, and make the drive from Millville to Washougal and then south, rather than doing the full east coast swing. That way I'll avoid some of the extra weekends off and time spent back east. I'll still be there, but will fly back and forth.

Ah yes, that cross country swing right before the east is a bear.

Don't want to drive another 6 or 7 thousand miles?

Mileage doesn't scare me...at all.

Actually, I'm in CA at the moment, while the truck and trailer are still in the Chicago area, which is where I drove after Budds. The biggest reason I'm cutting it short this year is that my son has summer school, and isn't traveling with me. That takes away a chunk of the appeal of being gone all summer. My girlfriend certainly appreciates the idea of me coming back a month earlier. Smile

If you would rather ride the same moto on a 450, here is the video from Chris Read #494 who finished 3rd in that moto. Gives a good chase view as I slowly pull away until the 7:18 mark when I am picking my RM back up for the last lap charge back to 2nd. Smile
