I have been on the hunt for awhile, planning on picking up someones used '15 that already had a few mods done but then i came across THIS. On the downside its a '13...but it has CV forks and a RG3 diamond kit on the rear Among quite a few high dollar goodies. $5500.
Thoughts anyone?

Buy it. The cone valve forks get $2,500 used all day long.

I'll give you $2000 for the forks... if you don't want them for some reason?

I done did it!

Now could someone explain to me why all the other CV forks I have seen don't have DLC coatings but these do. He reffered to these as A kit CV forks...but i mean, arn't all CV forks considered a kit...

I've never seen a set of cv that didn't have the dlc coating.

13s a good bike, got the same bike now about to sell it though. Over 200 hours on it, never one single engine problem except a leaky countershaft seal. Still original clutch and crank. Just did a piston once a year, time to sell the old girl and get a fresh one.

Edit- will also have a lot of after market parts off it for sale

If they don't have DLC coating, they may be cone valve inserts. Full cone valve forks have DLC coating and the upper tubes don't really taper like stock forks. They're a slightly different color as well.

The 52mm CV forks don't have DLC (some other treatment is done to their lower legs), while the 48mm CVs have DLC.

Other than rigidity , do the 52s perform differently?

I don't believe the action is different. Maybe more oil capacity helps during long Motos and abuse they put them through?

Well I went and picked it up today! I guess i wasn't paying attention because its actually a 2014! and not a 13

It has the Neken SFS clamps on it. The guy that was selling it was super cool. Was an older guy like 52 y/o. He showed the paperwork where he just go the top end redone and all the linkages and bearings repacked. Said he had only ridden two times this entire year due to work and the entire bike has no more than 20hrs but he was thinking it was closer to 15.

This guy takes care of his stuff and it definitely shows this bike is MINT!

SO PUMPED!!!!

Nice find.
I have to sell my '14 150sx which I bought new in February. I put about 10 laps at NCMP and broke my upper humerus, which caused my shoulder to dislocate and tear all ligaments, tendons and rip cartilage from shoulder.
I put backgrounds on and that's it. Yellow and black markings still on disc and cylinder from the factory. I paid $6200 but with '16 models out I'm only asking 4999.00 ($5000). Just need to sell. My comeback from addiction failed and at 43 I need retire.

I would bet that bike doesn't have 15 hours on it, not even close. My 14 250SX has a little under 17 on the meter and there is a lot more worn off the clutch cover, while yours is super clean.

awesome! yeah I just pressure washed the bike and what looks like rub marks on the cover was actually just dirt. There is barely any rub at all

Any of you guys that are running a 250sx, one of the radiator hoses that goes straight up is actually ON the exhaust pipe. Any of you guys have any issues with this?

Nah never had an issue, don't think mine touches but never really checked. This was both with stock and PC platinum pipes.

If I understood your last sentence right, don't give up dude. The shoulder thing is brutal, I went through it last year, not as bad as yours mind you.. But give it some time, keep your head up, do physio and you'll get back to where you were pre-injury. Don't go down that rabbit hole again.
