$4K, with extra battery INCLUDED and a QUICK SWAP option for battery's would be a great do over.
You could buy 2 Beta's for $1799 that come with spare batteries. Not sure it's a match on a track for a KTM though, haven't heard...

The Beta is 36 volts vs the KTM having 48 volts. The beta isn't much better than the $700 Chinese 36 volt bikes.
Add one more battery and you've got 48 if that's what you want. The Beta has much nicer components than current Chinese offerings, but that changes daily.

It's not quite as simple as just adding a battery. The controller, throttle, and charging system would need replaced as well. Depending on the battery set up, a complete battery replacement could be needed to. Then it's still not on the same level suspension and chassis wise.

I'd like to cram a ttr50 engine in that chassis and call it a day! Too much unknowns about the machine and resale, service, etc, but def more affordable than the other option and better suspended than all the entry level 50's. The couple of video's on the world wide web shows that bike moving along like a snail.

Husky MSRP is $100 more than the KTM. Correct me if I'm wrong , but aren't Huskies usually a little cheaper than KTMs?

Local dealer posted the other day that they are taking deposits on them, but didn’t know when they’d be in.

Anyone have any solid info or arrival date? Ready to pull the trigger on one

A KTM dealer told me mid November to Xmas they should arrive. Not sure about Husky, but I would guess in the same time frame.

That pricing seems right. KTM is less expensive than Husky.

Husky is always presented as their "premium" product line.

Most controllers are good for 63 volts, but if you need one they are like $10. Overvolting is pretty common on mountain bikes. The Beta has room for 2-3 times more batteries than it comes with, plenty of room for DIY modifications. We'll see about that suspension and chassis, the Austrian's haven't shipped any bikes yet. Maybe we'll see a shootout with a Gas Gas and a Oset? For the price of the Beta, you could buy a Sur Ron to follow the little one around on. IMO $5k is ridiculous.
