Hey guys,

I am looking at getting a bike for enduro, I realize the best options would be something like a KTM 300 EXC or a TE 300. There are some good deals where I am on the 2014 TC 250s and would like to know your guys opinion on if this would be possible to use it for enduro or what mods might be needed to get it there. Thanks!

A lot of it depends on what you consider to be enduro. If you just mean trail riding, set suspension softer, add a couple teeth to the rear sprocket and get a skid plate and hand guards. I do like endurox's idea of an 18 rear wheel. If you are riding fast through rocks, it is pretty necessary. If you are riding dirt trails, I don't think that you really need it.

Personally, I ride/race an 06 RM250 with PC pipe/spark arrestor, skid plate, flywheel weight, 18" rear, 2 teeth up and some hand guards. If money were no object, I would get a KTM/Husky 250 XC or EXC. E Start would be sweet in the really tough stuff.
