With almost certainty Rockstar will pull all sponsorship from the factory Husky team after this year. Anyone have any ideas what that means for the Factory Husky effort? Will they just revert back to Red Bull since they are apart of the KTM group (KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas)? Or will Husky find a new title sponsor? Thoughts?

I always thought this setup looked good, but that's just me.

I know Rockstar has gone through same changes recently but how do we know they won't continue to sponsor that team? Has the team been told they won't?

Pepsi bought Rockstar and have a history of not seeing value in motorsports. At least that's what I've heard rumblings of (sponsorship wise, I'm certain Pepsi owns Rockstar).

Iโ€™m aware of that, Iโ€™m also aware that Pepsi has been trying to get into the energy drink market for years to reach the elusive 18-24 demographic and have failed miserably with their in house brands they created to try and compete. By purchasing Rockstar they have that elusive demo and I wouldnโ€™t expect them to change their current marketing too much but you will see their distribution abilities and their company power to get the product in places it hasnโ€™t been before.....Thatโ€™s why I question the โ€œalmost certainโ€ comment above about Rockstar leaving motor sports or better yet the action sports arena which SX squarely falls into

I hope you are right in this case. Everything I've heard is they want to put the marketing money into digital ads (which I've started to see on social media).

I also see it time and time again in business where a company acquires a successful company because they are well positioned and have something strategically the acquiring company needs. That company then goes and changes everything the acquired company did "because they know better" and then wonders why it is not performing as well as it should be.

Which would be ironic seeing as its probably one of the main reason the brand is big. If they weren't in motorsports they could have probably bought them for less money too.....lol

There's many rumors circulating of Bang going bankrupt soon, so not sure how much money we'd be able to see them pour into SX/MX. I was surprised they never made a push in the beginning phase of their success. Seems like most of their marketing is focused towards Gym and fitness though.
