Needs to be 40 of them and they need to be part of the outdoor nationals. The AMA, yes that AMA not the other AMA, says that they have nothing to do with that though. It's all up to MX Sports they say.

I wonder if a KTM 150SX motor would bolt right up in those?

Geez that was painful to watch. I'm sure those bikes are super fun but a deeply disc'd wet track is not the place for a 125 (even in the hands of those two rippers)

That's the beauty of 125s. It's about line choice and corner speed. Sure they look slow, but they are a blast!

It does, it's pretty much the same engine.

Feel lucky that I got to race in a field of 125s back in 'the day', it was fun concentrating on line choice and corner speed to carry more speed. 4 strokes are definitely fast but much more point and squirt.

If everybody was riding 125s they would look fast because they still would be faster than anyone here. Going a bit slower also has some downsides too I guess like maybe a few less season ending injuries.

I agree on this 100%. The AMA and MX Sports needs a 125cc 2 Stroke class for the outdoor nationals.

Just shows how unfriendly track design is to 125's these days, wonder if this will be addressed in the future?
Viva la 125 revolution! I never left the bandwagon, and have found local tracks aimed at 4strokes a pain in the ass for years

The layouts & jump setups often SUCK for 125s for sure these days but still fun as hell to be on and figure it out.
